Looking for a boost to your fall wardrobe? Wanting the latest trends at a fraction of the costs? Well come out to Birmingham’s first annual Clothes SWAP n’ SHOP to STOP Diabetes held at the Birmingham Home and Garden Inspiration Home!! A $10 entrance fee and a least one lightly used article of clothing or accessory is all you need to enter. SWAP items from your wardrobe for "new-to-you" items from other guests while you explore and SHOP the unique selections provided by local vendors at the expo marketplace. Sip and snack on complimentary refreshments while you mingle with other savvy fashionistas.

Did you know Alabama was recently named #1 in diabetes incidence rate? By working together we can change the future of diabetes by joining the American Diabetes Association’s mission to STOP Diabetes. You can join the movement today by clearing your closets, gathering co-workers, friends and family members to come out and support the event. It will be shopping and swapping for great finds for a good cause. With November being the National Diabetes Awareness Month, this is an opportunity to promote awareness about the seriousness of diabetes in the local communities. Please help us with your support. Sip on complimentary beverages while networking & mingling with other local fashionistas. Door prize contests and raffle begins.
7:30 pm SHARP
The clothing swap begins and it’s a mad dash to find the best items from other Birminghamians’ closets — along with brand new items hidden throughout the swap like buried treasure, donated by local sponsors.
8:00 to 8:30 pm
“Shop” our local fashion expo marketplace with demonstrations from several local entrepreneurs while enjoying complimentary snacks from our food sponsor.
8:30 to 9pm
“Be styled, be fabulous” while our local stylist and makeup artist create a new you with the “new to you” items you’ve found.
